Biography

Rachel M. Sposato is an associate attorney at The Hinds Law Group. Her practice areas include business bankruptcy, unsecured and secured creditors’ rights, and civil business and commercial litigation.

Ms. Sposato graduated from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and a minor in Women’s Studies. She earned her Juris Doctor from Western New England College School of Law (now, Western New England University School of Law) in Springfield, MA. Prior to joining Hinds & Shankman, LLP (now, The Hinds Law Group, APC), Ms. Sposato practiced consumer bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation in Boston, MA.

During undergrad at Mount Holyoke, a website Ms. Sposato created to bring awareness to the genocide occurring in Darfur, Sudan for a class project was selected by the U.S. Library of Congress for inclusion into their Internet materials related to the crisis in Darfur for their African Section of the African and Middle Eastern Division. During law school, Ms. Sposato served as Treasurer for the Student Bar Association. In addition to academic work and serving as a law clerk for local firms, she served as a legal extern for the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General.

Ms. Sposato is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, California, and New York, as well as, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the Central, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Ms. Sposato, was selected to the 2018 – 2021 Southern California Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers®. This is quite an honor, as each year, no more than 2.5% of attorneys in Southern California are recognized for this list.
